To Garrett

My first born grandson!  The apple your daddy’s eye!  Sorry son but your outnumbered 4-1 and I can’t help you much.  I gotta believe God wants you to learn a lot more about women than I know – it’s simple – he surrounded you with them and you can’t escape.

Maybe that’s why you like older women huh?  Can’t forget the reason you gave for liking your sisters good looken friends.  “I can’t help myself – I just do”!  I suspect that’s the Best answer I’ll ever hear!

In spite of your older women tendencies, God gave you many manly instincts.  When you where a little tyke, just able to walk – your sisters would walk through the garage directly into our house.  But not you, you would have to check out the guys stuff in the garage on the way in and getting dirty was part of the job.

But your real manly man talents shined the day your dad took you fishing on his boat when you were still a tyke.  No napping for me daddy!  I couldn’t believe you didn’t take a nap!  You were there to enjoy the outdoors and fish all day long!  Let me catch em and take em off the hook.  And just show you how much promise I have – I’ll kiss the fish too.  And let me handle those worms.  Well it’s true little boys and dirt go together naturally!

God must have sent you through an energy field on your way to delivery.  You give the energizer bunny a run for the money!

Well there is an exception – the first time I took you deer hunting – 6 Am in the morning and it was really dark.  We walked over to a food plot and sat in a blind about an hour   before sunrise.  You put your head down on my knee wand went fast asleep.  About 15 minutes before sunrise you woke you took one look around.  No deer, let’s go back to the cabin paw paw.  God was good to us that day.  On our way back, across the lake was a fawn eating acorns under an oak tree.  Yes it was a successful hunt we had together.

I love you son.

To Taylor

You are a joy to my heart and a treasure sent form heaven with a sense of humor to boot!  God knew we needed a love button and you are it.  Taylor (Tay Tay) with a “H” for Hug me and I will hug you back!  And though you probably grown tied of hearing it, your as close to a spiting image of your grand mother as you can get.  You are more like my wife’s sister than her grand child.

I still remember the day your folks brought you our house when you were first learning to walk.  You stopped on the drive way and had bent down to look at something on the ground for what seemed an eternity.  There you were chest against knees like only toddlers can do.  I had to find out what was it that caught your imagination.  So I came over and bent down (as I could chest to knees) to see if could discover what had captured your imagination.  Almost unseen was the tiniest ant I think I ever saw crawling across the concrete.

You helped me discover again the beauty and mystery of God creation that unfolds before unseeing eyes.  You give me moments that are etched in my mind forever.  Thank you for the beauty you bring to my life.

Oh how we wish you could come to our house and stay over more often.  Only problem for me, is I lose my sleeping bed unless you make a pallet on the floor when your sister and brother stay over as well.

And that wonderful smile, look at me I hit the ball but I am not gonna run!  Someday, I will get that chance to watch you run to first base – maybe when we visit in heaven.

I love you!

To Haleigh

You have blessed me with treasures and visions of beauty beyond those I could dream of.  I pray one day I can bring as much joy and beauty to your life as you have to mine.

From the time you were a baby before you could walk and talk I knew God had graced you with marvelous motherly instincts.  The gentle way you took care of your dollies and yet even more spectacular was how you looked after your baby sister as if she was your own child.  How could one so young have these instincts unless it was a gift from God.  You are going to make the best mom some day.

I will never forget the day your uncle Troy brought his first daughter to our house.  You already knew the hoped for treasure she could be.  The excitement I saw in your eyes and your sisters and how the two of you encircled that new baby like.  She was going to become your new best friend forever.  Someone you could play and share life’s journey with.

The hope of that moment still lives in my heart!  I pray you will never let the bumps in life ever diminish the innocence and purity of your spirit for love of family.

I pray one day God will bless with the opportunity to encounter the joy of that moment that will always live in my heart!

I love you.

The New Amercian Dream = Create an Image of Self Fulfillment

What is the Amercian Dream?  Are we living in an age where a new fairness Dream is being thrust upon us?  Is this the Dream I have believed all my life?  Is this the Dream I wish for my children and grand children?  What is the Dream your encountering in your neighborhood?  Is this the one we want?  Is this the one we would die for?  Or are we just dreaming?  Is this dream real?  Are we awake?  Pinch me!

Conservatism, socialism, welfare and the common good are words tossed about in the wind, especially politically.  Who is the decider of the Common Good?

The Common Good must overide conservatism and socialism, but how do we know when the term the common good is being exploted by agendas willing to compromise the common good ofr power and control?

Any definition of the Common Good should not support corruption of the rich or the poor.  The difficulty is not in conservatism or socialism but in humans willingness to use corruption rather than seek the truth which is the objective of the common good.  Both sides can articulate legitimate arguments.

The use of God given talents and the associated blessings enable one to prosper which is a fundamental Gosple value not to be overlooked.  It is when becomes selffish and self centered that one can go astry.  Likewise the social concept of redistribution that discouarges the use of ones talents especially is treatened with removal of the talents another Gospel value.  When redistribution is used to gain power and control selfishness  and corruption begins to trump Gospel values.

The poor indeed will always be with us for one simple reason.  God gave humanity free will.  To chose good or evil.  To use one talents or to waste them.

The purest Amercian Dream lies hidden in Truth and the Gospel reveals the truth to the spirit while the world reamins blind.  Values where one freely choses to make full use of every God given talents and when excess richs oveflow to recognise the cries of the poor who for reasons they can not control become poor.

However the gosple message of the use of talents should not also be overlooked.  Remembering the one who freely choses to bury their talents must be allowed the difinity of failure and the suuffering which offers hopes of conversion.

Do we know our History?  It wasn’t so long ago!  After freeing the slaves, the government and the land owners needed a way to get the freemen (previously) slaves back into the cotton and other fields to plow, harrow, plant, and harvest the crop.

For decades after Reconstruction tenancy and sharecropping became the way of life in the Cotton Belt.  Imagine as late as 1930 there were 1,831,470 tenant farmers in the South. What began as a device to get former slaves back to work became a pernicious system that entrapped white as well as black farmers.

http://digital.library.okstate.edu/encyclopedia/entries/T/TE009.html

How does Pernicious measure up against the Common Good and Gospel values?  A very descriptive word – I wonder does this social justice language go over the heads of many?   Perhaps those who are free but entrapped in a system of tenancy and sharecropping are least able to discern the truth.  This system altough better than slavery offered some hope of overcoming poverty but very few realized that hope.  It often resulted in a kind of jumping out of the fire into the frying pan depending upon health, weather and the success of the harvest.

In it’s favor however was hope and the reality success or failure was directly connected and related to ones efforts or work.  When a system is establsihed without a connection to the use of talents, the self investment one makes through works – well then it becomes a deformation of work and undermines the creativity and dignity of the human soul.

In the case of tenancy and sharecropping the land owners and political rule makers have the upper hand.  The ability to create an image of freedom and success based upon ones own effort served to encouarge many folks to sign up.  Only later many would find themselves in gut wrenching situations and losing everything they had invested.

Has tenancy and sharecropping mutated in 2011?  Do we have a system where people are rewarded for making no investment of time, the use of talents or the investment of treasure?  And is the reward they recieve based upon their individual creativety and work yet being insuffcient for them to escape from the grasp of the rule makers.

Could we be experiencing a new more severve case welfare corruption in 2011.  The image of fulfilling the dream, freedom and opportunity to chose without almost no self investment was created.  The housing crises that literally exploded in 2007 followed the image of tenancy.  Little or no investment on the part of the land owner or the tenant was required.  The criteria, regulation and oversight were sacrificed by people of power who were far removed from suffering any consequences – the political elite and money changers have not suffered any consequences.

A new class of people has been on the rise for many generations in this nation.  A new ruling class exists in the USA, unlike the founding fathers they have worked to establsih an image, vision and version of a new gosple that seeks government power and control.  It is stealthy and seeks to establsih a tenancy and sharecropping system unlike any before in the history of this nation.

Slick talking image making leaders used ideas and words to create the image of being freed all the while laying the foundation and snares necessary to entrap and enslave generations to be the new poor by appealing to their thrist for hope and change they could believe in without definitions realted to Gospel values.

Dedicated to Winston

God’s creature and teacher of God’s gift’s and Love.

Winston an Australian Sheppard was about 16-17 years old when he died.

I love that dog and I miss him.  Winston taught me about patience and humility.  He was chained to a tire in my garage most of the time we were at home.  Winston always would come to me when called, most times with little delay.  He did this knowing I would chain him to that tire in my garage that limited his travels to about 20 foot.  Enough so he could still stand in the yard, view the passers by on the street and come to the back door.

I still marvel at the obdience of this dog who came of his own free will to do as I requested.

No matter how long I left Winston alone, he would great me as his long lost best friend forever.  If I failed to feed him on time or missed an occasional feeding the enthusiasm of his greeting was unchanged.  Did I tell you I came to love that dog!

Winston taught me so clearly about the lessons of a loving God, than perhaps any other creature.  Winston and God will wait and wait and wait for their beloved children to remember they still exist!  And when the child finally returns all sins and oversights are forgiven no matter how long it has been.  I am so glad you have let me come back into your presence and world.

I will miss Winston’s gaze.  He watched me like a hawk.  His question seemed always to be “can I go”,  “can I go”, “do I get to go with you today”?  He was the best student of my behavior and knew instinctively, perhaps by how I was dressed and walked that he would be left at home or would get to go along for a ride.

No matter the answer, Winston’s arms were always open for me!

Winston had faith and trusted his life with me!  He trusted me for food and water.   By nature he was protective of our home so we chained Winston him to a tire heavy.  Havy enough he could pull it a short distance but would have to stop before he could get out to the road.

As Wisnton grew older, he developed cancer and we had it removed with surgery.  After the surgery he had a stroke which caused him to walk with his head tilted some.   Yet his enthusiastic welcome remained unchanged.

Winston lifted my spirit, was at myside every moment he was allowed and became a part of who I am.   Winston taught me God’s lessons about love, trust, faithfulness, forgiveness, patience and obedience.

So many times I took Winston as a given and gave him little thought.   On every occasion he was 100% present when I took even the briefest of moments to acknowledge he existed.  If I just spoke his name it fullfilled his purpose of being.

I miss you Winston, yet I know you createed a place in my heart!  Forgive me for the many times I forgot you were at my side, waiting, trusting and being ever present for those brief moments I finally took time to let you into the consciousness of my life!

There’s gotta be a heaven for the creatures God sends to us to teach us his loving existence.

The Little Red Hen

What do you suppose “The Little Red Hen” would do today in 2011?

Oh yea!  And if you find it necessary to add to the story, carefully write down the parts you add.  Those additions serve as a truth mirror to a point of view that lives in your soul alone!

You do know the story don’t you?

http://www.enchantedlearning.com/stories/fairytale/littleredhen/story/

It’s an ancient old folk take – a fable if you will (originated in Russia) used to teach children  a moral lesson!  Perhaps not so simple or singular!

Hidden in the lesson is a secret rescepe for anyone who seeks to discover the human ingredients necessary to encounter the rewards of God’s plan concerning the talents one needs to achieve the potential fullness of the pursuit of happiness!

Didn’t you know the American Dream was hidden in histories dusty attic?

Wisdom is all around but ones eyes must be open to the simplicity of the story!

Oh my, Oh my how many find it necessary to add their imaginary bias’s to the story.

The Little Red Hen consistently and without bias invited everyone in the neighborhood to participate.  But despite her repeated invitations she encountered repeated rejection.  Amazingly, she opened the door of opportunity again and again to participate in the creation of a life sustaining and satisfying food.

What was the life sustaining hidden talent she possessed?

Was it her vision of what ultimately would be the fruit of her labor?  Or was it the labor itself which satisfied the dignity of her soul to know she was using her talents?  Was it the openness of her spirit to invite those in the neighborhood to enter into a task which offered the potential for unity of purpose?  What was her talent?  And is it a gift she can transfer or give to someone else?

Oh my, Oh my, so many take this story and add imaginary advanatgaes which are not cummunicated in the story.  They must then live only in the soul of the imaginer!  The spirit of Truth says look in the mirror of truth and reflect upon the additions looking back!

The seeds had fallen to mothers earth and anyone willing and able could pick them.  But only the Little Red Hen was willing and able to take the time and do the labor necessary to pcik up the seeds.

The earth is all around us and so far as I know it doesn’t normally move much.  The sun comes up every morning and does not deny itself to any living creature.  The rain falls faithfully without regard to the feelings or emotions of those below.  Mother nature is an equal opportunity environment without bias and every creature in the little red hens neighborhood had equal access to all her resources.

Could it be the secret ingrediant existed within each creatures freedom to choose and no where else?  Was the secret ingrediant an openness to allow oneself to dream and imagine.  Was the secret ingrediant the willingness to take a risk to succeed or fail while everyone watched?  Was the secret ingediant the willingness to work and labor?  Was the secret ingrediate using ones talents even when others rejected them and were unwilling to assist, help or encourage?

Matthew 25:  The gift of talents!

What was the secret ingrediant? . . . . . . . . .

Social Justice and the Common Good

What is the common good?  Does it favor the rich or the poor?  Or is it about providing each citizen the freedom and opportunity to choose to use their god given talents to the fullest?  God gave each of us complete freedom to choose.  He also told us we would gain the rewards and/or the suffer the consequences of our free choices.

Do we humans know better than God?  Is it the governments job to chose who succeeds or fails?  Or is it the governments job to create an environment where each person has an opportunity to succeed or fail and gain from the experience?

Charity and Justice are the twin children that reveal the truth!  But what is charity and justice?  Further through whose eyes are we looking at these abstract human concepts?

Seems that many think it is the federal governments job to control the people so that the so called redistributive nature of Christianity can be applied.  And what the heck is political redistributive social justice of Christianity?

“The Common Good is achieved by Balancing Corruption”

Our founding fathers had great wisdom and divine providence lead them.  We see this  clearly in come into play when this nation was founded upon Christian Judeo principles which recognize the corruptibility of human nature as documented throughout Holy Scripture.  This nations system of government was designed to balance human natures ancient desire to gain power which historically lead to to corruption of the Truth.  Our founding fathers were open to the spirit of truth which lead to discern wisdom from the study of scripture and and history.

Our founding fathers were drawn into the study of history which resulted in as  clear a grasp of history as any people who desired to form a government which would best enable the people to govern themselves.  They knew both the church and the state where susceptable to being corrupted when their power was combined which lead to absolute and complete authority .  So they forbade the federal government from forming a religion.  Hence they empowered the voices of the people to confront corruption from either the church or the state.   It was the principle of truth which comes from a creator and not humanity itself.

It is the people who serve as the last resort to balance power.  They have been delegated the right and duty to take action to balance power when it gets out of control of the people.

Now those who advocate the relinquishment of their individual responsibility to a federal government which repeatedly demonstrates a propensity to make decisions based upon a human concept of political correctness which  serves as an affront to the truth must bury their heads in the sand to the reality the federal government lusts for power and control over the people.

Charity calls one to confront the truth and recognize the imperfection that lives and breaths in our political system and in the hearts of humans.  Seeking truth through charity requires courage.  We don’t have to look beyond the life of Jesus Christ himself who confronted the religious and civil powers of His day for which he was crucified.

Simply put, the truth has the potential to piss off the leaders of the church and the state who cling and lust for power and control over the people!  Every nation and every church has fallen to this corruption of the soul.  Better one man die than for the truth to prevail!

It has been and will always be the job of the people to call those in authority back to the truth while realizing such action could well cost them their life!  We call these folks saints.  And out nation is in desperate need of saints to call the government and even the church to the truth.

Christ taught and the church teaches the whole of scripture must be considered when discerning the truth.

Those who support redistributive wealth should be careful not to violate the parable of talents as is written in the Gospel of Matthew 25: 14-30.  Seems that the good Lord’s plan  rewarded those who worked to use their talents.  The two who used their talents were rewarded with a doubling of talents.  The one who buried his talent had it taken away.

This is the Lord’s justice and charity and I believe summarizes the concept of “the pursuit of happiness” referred to in the Declaration of Independence.

Seems this scenario is being played out in our nation today.  Is the federal government encouraging the corruption of it’s people to use their talents by sitting at home and living off those who choose to work everyday?  Is the federal government using redistribution to purchase power and control over the people by buying votes?  This is a legitimate question we are confronted with today.  It is a question that requires courage to seek the truth buried in charity, social justice and the truth!

Is the commo9n good is being sacrificed to create class warfare.  Is this nation demonizing the “Little Red Hen”.  Everyone wants to eat her cake but how many are willing to work to help?  The rich (those who use their talents) are condemned seemingly without regard to the sacrifices they make their freedom of choice in regard to the dignity of the human person to chose to be charitable is denied by a political correct power often more interested in obtaining power than doing what is in the best interest or common good for the whole people.

The corruption our founding fathers feared has invaded our land could well lead this nation to worship at the altar of a humanistic progressive god that can not save while leading it’s people into bondage and slavery this people can not imagine.  The langauge of faith and salvation is being used to justify lust for human power and control.

The founding fathers knew, this nation must protect the freedom of religion so that it’s people would have a voice independent of the government to confront the ever present corruptible human nature they knew would surely attack the principles laid out in the Declaration of Independence.

The rights of the people come from a higher authority than the federal government.  The first among these is life.  When life is no longer held sacred by the people of this nation none of the rights that follow are sacred.

The polarization that impedes the common good within this nation, is driven by the war between the human secular progressive god and the one true god.  It is an ancient war to determine who is your god?  One could say it is a continuation of the war between good and evil that took place in the Garden of Eden.

Polarization will not cease until the sacredness of life is restored in this nation because we return to believe Almighty God is the one and only Creator of Life.

More to come …

Charity and Justice the twin Children of Truth

John 18: 38, NAB – Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and said to them, “I find no guilt in Him.

Perhaps Pilot said it best for many who have great difficulty mustering the courage to embrace the truth or even begin to wrap ones arms around the truth.  Truth What is truth?

Who was it that came to testify to the truth?  The Truth will set us free.  Where do we look for the truth?

The Truth is, the truth surrounds itself with other abstract words.  Charity and Justice are two of the twin children of the truth.  When charity and justice are applied properly they hyelp point to and reveal the truth.

Do we kill a man to avoid torturing him and justify our actions based upon our values.  Woops, there’s another abstract word = values?  Well where our do values come from and who decides what they are or are not???

As we grow older we discover our individual values clash with other folks we encounter.  So what do we do?  Charity perhaps, one of the twin children of the truth helps us find our way through the smoke and clouds that exist to hide the truth.

Did you know when humans reach the age of 11, their values have been set for life.  Wow – for life?  Imagine looking at the world through the eyes of an 11 year old and one has reached middle age?

To be continued …..

All of this is to say these are abstract words which are founded upon revealed spiritual truth which is communicated through

Hope Springs Eternal

Easter Vigil April 23, 2011

This is the night of hope!  This is a night when the story of salvation history is told.  This is the night our savior spent in a tomb waiting for resurrection day!  This is a story of hope bound up in a story of human brutality that took place over 200 years ago.  Yet it is this hope that transcends time and is fully alive in 2011!

The salvation history stories of the Old and New Testament rekindled a history story that shook my life as a young man yet still a boy.  Does anyone remember November 22, 1963 and what took place on that date?  Has anyone watched the video replay of the events that took place at the Dallas hospital when President John F Kennedy was assassinated?  I will never forget.  I was still just a boy!  I was glued to the TV for the next several days as I watched the events of that day being retold as history continued to unfold before my eyes.

There is one very brief moment I wonder if anyone noticed.  It was a moment I missed but my mother did not.  While President Kennedy was laying on the gurney in the emergency room, partially undressed in the Dallas hospital, he was surrounded by security, police, nurses and doctors all seemingly frantically doing what they could to save his life.  It was a scene of near panic, chaos and emotional turmoil as people were desperately working to save his life while trying to digest the deadly seriousness of the circumstances that surrounded them.

There at JFK’s feet stood Jackie Kennedy.  She appeared disheveled yet seemed the most composed person in the room.  With great calm she bent over and kissed her husband’s feet.  In all the chaos, panic, turmoil and darkness that surrounded that moment, Jackie kissed JFK’s bare feet.

My mother didn’t miss the tenderness and love communicated displayed in that moment of utter emotional panic and darkness.  It was a gesture of unconditional love!  It was a gesture of being blessed no matter the outcome!  It was a gesture I am with you no matter the nightmare that surrounds.  It was a kiss of hope that can only spring from the deep recesses of ones spirit.

This is the night from which that hope springs forth like the son’s rising in the morning.  There is Hope for us no matter the darkness of any moment of darkness we encounter.  This Hope sustains our spirit to resist the temptation to lay down and feel sorry for ourselves.  This hope opens the doorway to our hearts to embrace the possibilities of the promises released by the resurrected spirit of Jesus.

Do not be afraid or lament our circumstances.  It is not a mistake that we are here at St. Peter the Rock this day.  It is not a mistake that we are encountering the difficulties of our day in 2011 on the journey home.  We were each born for his day!  The joy and success we encounter on our journey lies in our ability to let the son shine in.  It lies in the real spiritual possibility we can be born again!  Our hope lies in the power of resurrected Lord, in the birthing of a new day and in our willingness to open our hearts to following the pathway to the truth our Lord promised would set us free.

Listen to the words of Matthew again.  Behold Jesus unexpectedly interrupted their fearful yet overjoyed running.  He met them in the midst of the unknown and uncertainty of the moment.  They were not just running, they were running on the wings of hope.  They were running to announce to their brothers and sisters the news of Hope that came alive in their spirits and was shouting from their hearts!

And what did they do when they encountered Jesus?  Their fear must have left them.  They not only approached him; they knelt down and even embraced his feet and did him homage.  Can you imagine that?  Imagine what his feet must have looked like?  The nail marks, the bruises, the cuts, the blood stains and the dirt.  Most of us could not have imagined embracing some ones feet and we would automatically withdraw!  Yet something more powerful was at work.  It was hope, it was joy, and the realization that the impossible was possible; was exploding in their minds.  It was an encounter with pure compassion, mercy and love!

On Holy Thursday, we gave thanks and remembered the night Jesus washed his disciples feet, stinky, dirty feet.  This same Jesus who came in fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy of “the suffering servant” modeled again for his disciples and for you and me proper humility for successful leadership.

It is this same Jesus whose crucifixion embraced and kissed our dirty stinky feet and in the process washed us clean.

Then what did he say to them?  Do not be afraid!  Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there I will see them.

First an angel and again Jesus told the women “do not be afraid!  Both gave them a command – what was it?  Quickly Go and tell his disciples and his brothers hope live – He has been raised from the dead!

And what will be the consequences of doing what they had been told?

Go and tell and then go again and you will see the Lord.

That my friends, my brothers and sisters what was the first command given to the women of the Church at the dawning of this new day!

“Do not be afraid”.  “Do not be afraid”.  “Do not fear”.

Go – Go tell the world to Hope, for He has risen!

The Declaration of Independance and Fairness

Our president seems to have placed his primary job as president as a secondary function to his desire to be reelected.  He is talking to the nation about fairness!

Fairness is word that requires one to be objectively free of bias, neither favoring the rich or the poor.  Our president is on record as stating his belief that the private sector is an enemy from his perspective.  As such we must then be careful about how we interpret what he means by fairness and double check our own understanding.

Let us not become confused!  Our president has developed a new ART Form of language use that requires his use of prompters which enable him to use carefully selected terms and words the American public hearer can draw upon to imagine their own individual interpretation while the president’s real meaning is not truthfully revealed.

Abstract Words like hope and change have no real meaning when they stand alone.  Yet within every American strong individual beliefs and emotions centered around those words are triggered.  Yet what is the real Truth?   The words themselves carry automatic interpretations which create the opportunity for the speaker to hide his meaning while the hearer assumes agreement in the definition of the words that surround hope and change.

Do these words draw upon our founding fathers definitions or do they reveal a desire to transform this nation to something other than the principles and laws which rapidly elevated this nation to a super industrial nation which has stood as a light to all Nations reflecting the freedom and liberty achieved under the American dream.

Freedom of speech and religion are the corners stones of these principles.  Yet, in America today, the politically correct has placed these sacred rights in the direct line of fire.  Free speech and Christianity are being regularly attached using language which under any other conditions could be considered hate language.

We must begin to stretch our spirits and brains – we are being tested and measured!

Our Declaration of Independence tells us.  We have unalienable rights,.  They come from a higher authority than the president, congress or any government at any level.

Our Rights come from our Creator!

Is not Free Will a basic building block in the creation of humans created equally?  Does not the dignity of the human person demand the Free Will to chose?

Does Free Will inherently come with consequences of free choice?

Is fairness a right in the outcome of free will choices?

How do humans learn?  Do their choices result in reward or suffering?  Is there a meaning to suffering?  Do we offset consequences by forcefully taking from one who made wise sacrificial choices to eliminate or reduce the suffering of a fool?

One cannot find the fullness of the truth without a journey through suffering and freely surrendering ones spirit to the will of God wherein the truth stands ready to reveal itself!  Yet God does not demand belief or God would violate His law of Love which is built upon free will.  So for some a stumbling block may stand in the way of freely choosing to open ones mind, spirit and soul to the potential fullness of truth only found when ones searches and thirsts for the essence of our Creator God who waits for us to find His spirit

All men are created equal!  God the creator gave each human the same free will to chose good or bad.  The Creators basic question for humankind must have been – “I wonder what choices they will make.”

For every human the question is.  Will our choices be good, better or best?  Or will they be bad, worse or worst?  Freedom of will was granted by the creator of all to every individual.

So perhaps the presidents concept of fairness misses the mark of God’s truth?  Equality of results were not guaranteed by God.  God set humans free to chose and to deal with the consequences of their choices for a reason.  The creator wanted humans to encounter Truth in a way they would have the greatest potential to recognize and understand the depth and the fullness of Truth.  One beings to grasp and understands the concept of thirst when one wanders in the desert and becomes dehydrated.

From the beginning humankind struggled to understand the Creators plan.  From antiquity, God planted His natural law in the earth and placed it the hearts and spirit of humankind so they could not avoid it.  To further ampliphy the consequences of natural and Divine Law, He sent among humans oral and written stories of angles and prophets to amplify and communicate the pathway to the Truth where freedom and happiness live.

Holy Scripture contains the story of the spirit of the Creator speaking through human messengers.

So stubborn and obstinate of spirit was humanity that this Creator of all sent the Son of God to model for humanity the way to perfection, the truth and the fulfillment of the purpose for which every human is created.

This story of humans salvation clearly communicated the pathway to freedom and truth leads through the doorway of human freewill to seek, search and discern the purpose for which each of us were created.
