In light of the tragic shooting at the Florida Parkland High School, I posted my reaction in a Face Book Post.  But when I went to look for this post it was no where to be found.  This result caused me to reflect upon the new reality that social media giants have established overseer shadow monitors.  It is alleged these people have the power to selectively minimize the distribution of posts.  In other words they have been granted license by their employer to decide who is allowed to view which posts.  Further, this process has created all sorts of categories that attempt to define people into various classes and groups.  These categories can then be used to limit distribution of post based upon predefined criteria and even moment to moment judgement of an individual purposely hidden from the users of the system.  Who are these shadow people and just how much authority do they have over my freedom of speech?
